Terms of use

These terms apply to the Vonkcad software, the vonkcad.be website and the Vonkcad cloud. By creating an account, you accept them.

Your account

  • Your account is personal. Keep your password to yourself: what is done with your account is done in your name.
  • One access lets you use Vonkcad on one computer, one tablet and two phones, unless your access provides more. Each member of a team has their own places.
  • When you change device, you free the old one yourself, once a year for each type of device. Beyond that, you request the replacement from “My devices”: we accept it for a genuine change of device (new, stolen or broken), not for lending your access.
  • In a company account, the administrator invites team members, chooses their role and can remove them.

Beta and prices

During the beta, Vonkcad is free. Before switching to a paid subscription, prices are announced by email: you remain free not to subscribe, and your projects remain yours.

A design aid

Vonkcad helps you design and document electrical installations according to the GREI. Its calculations and automatic check cover the most common rules: they replace neither your knowledge of the GREI nor the compliance inspection by an approved body.

You remain responsible for your installations and for the documents you hand over: diagrams, plans, files and quotes.

Vonkcad cloud

  • The Vonkcad cloud is optional: you choose, project by project, whether to save it in the cloud or on your PC.
  • Each account has 5 GB, and at most 50 MB per project. The last 10 versions of each project are kept so you can go back.
  • Your projects belong to you. You can download or delete them at any time from the software.
  • Your projects may contain your clients’ data: you remain responsible for it, and Vonkcad keeps it only for you, as a processor. The details are on the Privacy page.
  • We do what is needed to keep the cloud available and your projects protected, but an interruption remains possible (maintenance, outage). Keep a copy of your important projects on your PC.

Proper use

It is forbidden to bypass the access check, to resell or share an access outside your team, or to use Vonkcad or the cloud for an illegal purpose. In case of abuse, we may suspend access, after warning you except in an emergency.

Intellectual property

The Vonkcad software and this website remain the property of Vonkcad. You receive a right of use, not a right to copy or modify. The documents you produce with Vonkcad belong to you.

Changes and applicable law

We notify you by email before any significant change to these terms. They are governed by Belgian law. For any question: contact@vonkcad.be.
